Chocolaty Grawnolas

Hello!

Since I've been eating raw, one of the things i miss most, is eating a bowl of cereal. I used to love eating my cereal bowl every morning. Now I have my smoothie every morning, but I still crave my cereals occasionally. Before creating this recipe, I would sometimes eat the Ezekiel cereals, which are not truly raw, but made of 100% sprouted grains. But now, I have created my own recipe of Grawnolas :)

Here you go: :):)

ingredients:

-1 1/2 cups of dates (preferable to have a puree of dates for a better texture)
-2 cups of sprouted buckwheat
-1/4 cup raw cacao
-handful of gojiberries
-1 tsp vanilla
-1 tsp cinnamon

p.s. listening to Natasha Bedingfield's new Album; Strip Me...So good! I love her :)

Zuchinni Hummus

For those who wanted the recipe for the hummus found on the picture below (Raw Crackers Recipe), here it is:

ingredients:

-1-2 zuchinis
-1 large clove of garlic
-2 tbs of tahini
-salt and pepper (or cayenne)
-1 tsp of cumin (add more if you want stronger taste, this version is soft)
-1 green onion

Put all ingredients in blender or food processor. My hummus was green since I didn't peel the zuchnni. For a more traditional look, peel the zuchinni before blending. This is a super easy version of a raw hummus...Plus, it's Delicious! I have tried it with sprouted chickpeas before, but I prefer this version way more! The chickpeas give a more bitter taste.

Love Always,

Audrey

Raw Crackers!

Hey everyone!

I can finally post some recipes tonight thanks to my twin sister Fay, who was kind enough to take pictures of my recipes! I have been experiencing with the dehydrator lately, some things didn't turn out as wanted.. Either I waited to long or the temperature wasn't set right. On the other hand, I had recipes turn out Great!
First one, is this simple but tasty recipe for Raw Crackers!

Here's the recipe:

ingredients:

-1 1/2 cups sprouted wheat berries (soaked overnight and sprouted for two days)
-1 or 2 tomatoes
-1 small onion
-Poppy seeds

Grind the wheat berries in the food processor until you obtain the texture of a wet dough.
If you prefer, you can do this in a blender (vitamix). Add the tomatoes and onion. Blend until all ingredients are well mixed together. Spread on Paraflex or parchemin sheet. Sprinkle some poppy seeds on top and then put in dehydrator. Set dehydrator to 110 for about 8 hours.
*If you add less tomatoes, the dough will be easier to shape into a ''bun'', if you prefer to have more of a bread.

Enjoy with your favorite spread!
